On Friday 4 April, the Natural Bennachie exhibition opened at Seventeen, Aberdeen. The exhibition is on view until April 26 2014.
In the shadow of the breast sees the culmination of the Natural Bennachie project and displays the final artistic outcomes of the intensive residency programme. Included are the two films by Henry Coombes and Casali+Roubini, the sound installation from ~ in the fields, paintings and prints from Henry Coombes and Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva, and a time lapse documentation of The Colour of Red, the site specific performance by Elpida.
Seventeen is a new city centre creative hub, with MAKlab, space for workshops, events and exhibitions, supported by Aberdeen City Council and Creative Scotland.
