Artist Ana Ladd sails around the world!
Artist Ana Ladd has been at SSW over the last few years making life sized bronze sculptures, and now she is sailing around the world with husband Colin.
They have sailed up the Rio Charges, one of the largest rivers in Panama and its source is in the SE of the country. In the 1400 and 1500s it was used by the Spanish to transport gold from South America to the Atlantic where it was then shipped “home” to Spain. In the early 1900s the river was dammed to provide the water supply for the Panama Canal Locks. Have a little look at their gorgeous pictures………It looks amazing, but we are missing you here Ana!
